According to a report from Us Magazine, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton secretly tied the knot this past weekend. The couple is now husband and wife. Reportedly, the couple got legally married on the 5th of October, on Sunday.
The 37-year-old actress took to her social media on the 7th of October, Monday, via Instagram, to thank all of her friends and fans who supported her during the ceremony, especially those who were present for the event.
Burton stated on the ‘Gram that she and Jeff wanted to “put it out there” that they got married, and have lived as husband and wife already for approximately ten years. The star claimed she and her man had built a farm, a family, and found a community in which they thrive.
Back in 2009, the One Tree Hill star as well as the Walking Dead actor, 53, were introduced by Morgan’s Supernatural co-star, Jense Ackles, who also married the friend of Burton and ex-castmate, Dannell Harris.

Currently, Morgan and Burton share a nine-year-old son named Gus, as well as a 19-year-old daughter named George. Burton also took to her Instagram to officially change her last name to Morgan. As it was noted by Burton above, she and Morgan have stuck together through thick and thin, including the Burton/Affleck sexual misconduct dilemma in 2017.
