The timeline of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's 60m dollar mansion

Some of the previous owners of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's new house got caught up with the law when they lived in this mansion.

For example, La Opinion newspaper has reported that the mansion was bought by Curtis Somoza in 2004 but he was arrested shortly afterwards and handed a 25-year sentence for a Ponzi scheme scam.

In 2007, the house was bought by Jeoung Lee, a South Korean businesswoman and there wasn't much scandal for the best part of a decade, with the property rarely used and often rented out to short-term tenants or even for one-off events.

It was in 2015 that Majed Abdulaziz Al-Saud, a Saudi prince, entered the property and, according to The Hollywood Reporter, he was taken into custody by local police after alleged assault of women. However, Los Angeles County prosecutors never prosecuted him, as there was not enough evidence to file any charges.

In 2016, the estate was bought by Gala Asher and millions of dollars were spent to make it the 60m dollar asset that it is now.
