It was a $1725-a-week rental at one stage over its 15-year ownership, having first sold at $1.19 million in 1996 in the John Saunders’ development project. The apartment has views across the Domain to the NSW Art Gallery, St Mary’s Cathedral, plus the top of the Opera House and Bridge.
Malouf had an initial $5 million price guide which was adjusted after its first open for inspections to $4.5 million. There have been two higher sales, both above $6 million on the 12th floor.
