Nadya “Octomom” Suleman just refuses to fade into inevitable obscurity at a decent pace. Her most recent antics include trashing her home and then refusing to pay the mortgage as well as declaring that she is absolutely disgusted by her own babies. All the while, sketchy establishments continue to pay Nadya money to act like herself during celebrity boxing matches and the like. Now, Hollywood has come knocking on Octomom’s door and has literally offered her money to play an amplified version of herself, sort of; that is, Nadya has accepted a movie role where she’ll pull the very non-classy version of Tilda Swinton’s nightmare of giving birth to the devil. Meet Nadya Suleman, horror movie actress:

Perfectly casting a movie is one of the great mysteries of Hollywood film production.

But the makers of low-budget horror flick Millennium seem to have cracked it, as they have hired Octomom Nadya Suleman to play a woman impregnated by a demon.

The genre piece will see her star as Vanessa, who will visit a haunted house with her friend Brad and his date Jessica.

The mother-of-14 told Daily Mail Online: “I feel very fortunate to have been given this opportunity to star in this horror film. There are very similar characteristics between my character Vanessa and myself which has made it easier to prepare for my role. I love horror films and hope to have more opportunities in the future.”

The flick is being made by independent production company Fubot, whose only previous movie is the thriller Buried Alive, which was written, produced, directed and starred Kevin Clark and Manzie Jones.

Nadya’s character is a documentary filmmaker, and she is making a film about folklore. Her best friend Brad was meant to help her, but he instead decides to go on a date with new love Jessica, who he met online. His new girlfriend persuades Vanessa to join him by telling her the house is haunted and would be a good subject for her film, but it turns out she has been lured into a trap and she is a creature from Hell. Quite how she will be impregnated by a female demon will be revealed in the movie.

According to Nadya’s manager, making the movie will make her eligible for Screen Actors Guild health benefits. This could allow the hard-up star to cut her health care premiums in half.

And no doubt her appearance fee will also be welcome, as she has claimed she is broke and is struggling to pay the rent on her La Habra home in California.

[From People]

Well, I don’t doubt that Nadya is truly grateful for the opportunity to make some coin in what will undoubtedly be a horrible horror movie. Naturally, she probably also believes that this is the first step in her future career as a respectable and “serious” actress. Ugh. This is going to be one of those straight-to-DVD (or possibly straight-to-streaming) efforts, right? At least she’ll get some Screen Actor’s Guild insurance out of the deal, which is more than we can say for the uninsured Lindsay Lohan these days.

Incidentally, one of my favorite trainwrecks — Paz de la Huerta — is also making her own introductory entry into the horror genre very soon. She’ll be playing a psychotic nurse (and can be seen here, mostly naked, in a very NSFW promotional poster) in the aptly-titled Nurse 3D. Perhaps Paz and Octo should collaborate on a project together one day? On second thought, these two would positively kill each other; it’d be like the Cameron and JLo situation, only with a lot more white-trash hair pulling involved.
