The Ryder Cup may have finished over a week ago but that did not stop Shane Lowry getting one over rival Justin Thomas.
Team Europe claimed a thrilling win over Team USA to regain the famous trophy at the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club.
Lowry was one of those to star in their victory to help ensure a comfortable victory out in Rome.
Despite a strong performance, Thomas was unable to make it back-to-back Ryder Cup wins with the USA as they fell to a 16½-11½ defeat.
After the tournament, he decided to explore Italy and travelled to the picturesque Lake Como with his wife Jillian Wisniewski.
Taking to Instagram, the American posted pictures of the stunning landscape, but Lowry was lurking in the comments.

“Any pics from Rome???” the Irishman asked with a crazy-face emoji as he continues to revel in his Ryder Cup endeavours.
Thomas took it like a champ as he jokingly replied: "Shane it’s been two weeks and was starting to forget……"
Although he may have tasted defeat, Thomas still had some fun out on the course during the tournament, especially during his singles win over Sepp Straka.
Thomas tipped an imaginary hat to the crowd and then cupped his ears to the European supporters, living up to his role as the USA's chief motivator.

He finished two-up against Straka but it proved to not be enough as Team Europe emerged victorious.
Lowry led the celebrations out in Italy as he and co-star Rory McIlroy chanted 'Europe's on fire, USA is terrified' on a wild night of partying.
