Women who date shorter men are sharing their success stories to prove size really DOESNT matter

FINDING someone tall, dark and handsome is often top of a womans list when it comes to looking for love, with tall being the operative word. However, loved-up ladies have proven that that neednt be the case as they share photos of their much shorter other halves.

FINDING someone tall, dark and handsome is often top of a woman’s list when it comes to looking for love, with “tall” being the operative word.

However, loved-up ladies have proven that that needn’t be the case as they share photos of their much shorter other halves.

Taking to Twitter writer and actress Lizz Adams, from LA, shared a snap of herself and her 5’5” husband, where she can be seen towering over her hubby.

Captioning the snap she wrote: “Happily married to my 5’5” king for 8 years while y’all are getting ghosted by 6’2” alcoholics with 7th grade reading levels but go off about how you only date tall men I guess.”

Her tweet quickly went viral amassing over 190,000 likes as other couples with a height difference were quick to come forward to share their own stories of true love.

One said: “Ain’t nobody hotter than my 5’3” husband.”

Another posted: “I never thought I’d be married to a shorter guy, but here we are, killin’ it.”

“My smol boy is my favorite” added a third while sharing a snap of her partner.

Several older couples also came forward, proving that their height difference was enough to go the distance.

One said: "24 years together, 3 kids and a dog. 5'10 vs 5'6 and still so in love."

Another shared a photo of their parents, captioning it: "My mom is 5'6" and my dad is 4'11" married for 35 years."

But while these women are certainly happy in their relationships, a recent study found that short women and tall men have the best relationships.

Researchers found that out of almost 4,000 Indonesian couples that took part in the survey, the happiest were those with the greatest height difference.

This is down to evolution as shorter women feel protected by their more traditionally 'masculine' other half but being tall is also a biological indication that your partner is strong enough to protect a family.

So the greater the height difference, the happier the couple who are unconsciously following these prehistoric rules.

In other relationship news, these women claim that they'd never date a bloke under 6ft.

And these shallow men refuse to date women over a size 8 because they see them as "lazy."
